NSS Volunteers Participate in FIT India Cycle Rally at Rock Beach, Puducherry

  On 21st December 2025, as part of the FIT INDIA Programme initiated by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India , students of Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus actively participated in a Cycle Rally organized under the guidance of the State NSS Cell . The event offered university students the opportunity to represent their institution and contribute to the national mission of promoting fitness and healthy living. A team of 15 NSS volunteers participated in the rally, which commenced at 6:30 AM from the Gandhi Statue, Rock Beach, Puducherry . The rally covered a distance of approximately 2 kilometres and aimed to spread awareness about physical fitness, active lifestyles, and environmental sustainability through cycling. Inauguration of NSS Special Camp – Village Adoption Programme at RRU Puducherry

  On 25th March 2026, the Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry NSS Unit, with the enthusiastic participation of 50 student volunteers, successfully inaugurated the NSS Special Camp – Village Adoption Programme in the RRU auditorium. The inaugural session marked the beginning of a meaningful community outreach initiative aimed at fostering social responsibility, rural engagement, and experiential learning among the students.   On 19 March 2026, as part of its commitment to public health awareness and community engagement, the NSS unit of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, actively participated in a walkathon on dental and oral health awareness organized under the National Oral Health Programme (NOHP). NSS Students Participate in Election Awareness Programme Ahead of Puducherry Assembly Elections

  The NSS Unit of Rashtriya Raksha University actively participated in the Election Awareness Programme organized by the Election Commission of Puducherry on 17 March 2026 at Rock Beach Gandhi Statue in connection with the Election Anthem Release Ceremony for the upcoming Puducherry Legislative Assembly Election . A total of 25 NSS volunteers took part in the programme, which aimed to create awareness about ethical voting and encourage citizens, particularly first-time voters, to participate responsibly in the democratic process.   The NSS volunteers of Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus participated in the Puducherry Film Festival held on 14 February 2026 at Kamarajar Manimandapam, Lawspet, following their participation in the Drug Awareness Rally. The festival was organized to promote meaningful cinema, cultural appreciation, and social awareness among students and youth. The volunteers attended various film and documentary screenings conducted from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and actively took part in the discussions held during the programme.
