Cyber Crime Awareness Programme Under NSS: Expert Session Delivered by Ms. P. Suriya, Teaching Cum Research Officer (IT), RRU Puducherry

  As part of the NSS Cyber Crime Awareness Programme , a series of consecutive awareness sessions was conducted across various schools in Puducherry with the objective of promoting safe and responsible digital practices among adolescents. The expert session talk was delivered by Ms. P. Suriya , Teaching Cum Research Officer (IT) at Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus . The programme was organized under the theme “Click Smart, Stay Safe!” , emphasizing the importance of cyber awareness in the digital age. Each session commenced with an introduction to Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU) and its Puducherry Campus , highlighting the university’s contribution to national security education, research, and capacity building. Students were also briefed about the academic opportunities available at RRU, and course pamphlets were distributed to raise awareness about higher education pathways. Special Awareness Session on Healthy Behaviour and Lifestyle at RRU Puducherry Campus

  Rashtriya Raksha University (RRU), Puducherry Campus, in association with the National Service Scheme (NSS) , organized a Special Awareness Session on “Healthy Behaviour and Lifestyle” on 19 December 2025 at the RRU Auditorium. The session was conducted to promote holistic well-being, positive behavioural practices, and the importance of maintaining a balanced lifestyle among students and faculty members. The session was delivered by Acu Healer G. Sandhiya Manikandan , who holds academic qualifications including a B.Sc. (Chemistry), M.Sc. (Psychology), and an Adv. D.A.Sc., and DNYS . The resource person shared valuable insights on healthy behavioural patterns, mental well-being, lifestyle management, and the role of alternative healing practices in achieving overall health.   The Rashtriya Raksha University, Puducherry Campus, proudly hosted the State Level Youth Festival – 2026 on December 7, 2025, organized by the Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Puducherry, in collaboration with the Puducherry NSS Cell and Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat). Under the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue initiative, the event brought together energetic youth aged 15–29 years from Pondicherry, Karaikal, Mahe, and Yanam, celebrating culture, creativity, and leadership.
